This phase includes constant monitoring and interaction.
There are two main ways that we perform work.
The first is to bid a project based on plans that you present from an architect or designer. In that regard, we present a line-by-line estimate complete with value engineering ideas, which involve alternate materials or methods in order to tailor the project costs to fit your budget.
The second way that we perform work is called Design/Build. This method is a team approach between the client, an architect or designer and Shoreline Building Company. This approach involves everyone (client, architect, builder) from the very beginning. By its very nature, it enables us to monitor budgets, to understand intent and share collective knowledge to provide the very best end results.
We stay on top of schedules for timely delivery and we work closely with the design team to create your vision.
From a traditional aesthetic to a modern, streamlined vision or a balance of both, our talented craftsmen and trusted subcontractors work professionally and diligently to bring your vision to life. Our use of professional construction systems keeps you constantly engaged and up to date with the daily activities. We monitor budgets and changes in real time and set ourselves apart with transparency, integrity and a no surprises approach.
The last step in any build. This phase includes site cleanup, systems training and final inspections. After completion, we provide complete close-out packages and have a final walk-through to ensure your complete satisfaction. And if this is a part-time or summer residence, we offer full service care taking, which includes winterizing, storm protection and inspections (walk-through and drone flights) after the weather has passed.
